Texprocess Americas 2014 – Supply Chain USA Pavilion has increased by 50%

Texprocess Americas is pleased to have the SEAMS Association once again organize the Supply Chain USA Pavilion

Dedicated to promoting sound economic growth for the US sewn products companies, the not-for-profit organization supports the industry through various measures which includes attending important international trade shows. The Pavilion supported by SEAMS will host 34 exhibiting companies.

Texprocess Americas is co-located with Techtextil North America and will be held May 13 -15 at the Georgia World Congress Center. The shows will feature 522 exhibitors from 29 countries.

“Texprocess Americas is proud to have the SEAMS Association organize the Supply Chain USA Pavilion, stated Kristy Meade, Group Show Director, Messe Frankfurt, Inc. She went further to add “The growth of the pavilion is proof that the US textile and apparel industry is making a positive resurgence in the world market.”

“The SEAMS Association supports the resurging textile industry, by developing the US Supply Chain Pavilion we are able to connect our members with customers searching for US made products, stated   Sarah Friedman, Executive Director, SEAMS Association. She also noted that “as an Association we believe Texprocess Americas is the most beneficial show in the Western Hemisphere for the sewn products industry.”

Pavilion participants include:

Aiken Industries, Inc.
Aiken Industries, Inc. is a CMT contractor of men’s slacks, women’s slacks, skirts and shorts in knit or woven; home furnishings; and surgical sponges. Complete finishing including drop-ship.

Carolina Cotton Works, Inc.
Carolina Cotton Works, Inc. specializes in knit fabrics: jersey, 1x1 rib, 2x1 rib, fleece, interlock, pique, thermal, etc. Carolina Cotton Works offers contract bleaching and dyeing, knit-finish packages, and knit fabric packages.

Diversitex

Their product line consists of all types of round braid, flat braid, cord, and flat knit elastic. The items are for apparel, home furnishing, medical, and industrial applications.

Gerald Schwartz Inc.
Gerald Schwartz, Inc. is a supplier of plastic and metal fasteners, webbing, hook loop, nylon polyester fabrics, woven or knit flat elastic, bungee cord and nonelastic cord, zippers, snaps, thread, tubular knitted cuffs, collars, bands, piece goods dyed to match, military hardware, and webbing.

Hamrick Mills
Hamrick Mills, Inc. is a 100 year old vertical weaving company operating two fiber to fabric manufacturing plants located in Gaffney, SC. Wayne Mills Company, Inc., a subsidiary of Wayne Industries, is a family-owned and operated textile mill in Philadelphia, PA since 1910. We manufacture a wide variety of woven narrow fabrics 1/4 - 6 in. wide. Their products include, but are not limited to: twill tapes, bindings, light webbings, government spec tapes, flag header tapes, medical tapes, and safety tapes. The dye facility custom dyes our products as well as offering contract dyeing to our customers. They laminate reflective material and extrude adhesives up to 6 in. wide on our products or yours.
